Two weeks away from Retribution at the Sanford Salvation Army on August 2, 2008 at 7:30 PM. Many of scores will be settled and some new ones started. A career is on the line, the SCW title is put up against a SCW Hall of Fame Award. This is surely a night to remember in Southern Championship Wrestling.

Hogan Knows Best??

The older people in SCW might remember the 60”s and what was on television back then. We had such great shows as The Beverly Hillbillies, The Munsters,The Adams Family, and even a cartoon that was based on The Honeymooners calledThe Flintstones. It seems that in times of war or strong economic downturns, the least serious the show the better. I know it is so close to SCW Summerbash that will be held at the Sanford Salvation Army Gymnasium on June 21st and all but I would like to take a moment to expound on a gripe I have had with mainstream wrestling since back in the Hulk Hogan Era. The one thing that totally pisses me off is the marks and company promotional people that make these damn signs that you see on television to promote a wrestler or the promotion itself.
