I am not sure exactly what that title means, as it is only APR. But I want to bring someone up here. Someone that I feel alot of people are sleeping on.
Ray Beez.
There. I said it.
Fucking guy can go. He can work with damn near anyone, he puts his body on the line EVERY time he gets in the ring and sometimes ends up taking bumps that illicit groans and moans and the occasional "FUCK THAT" from everyone watching.
Why has he not been given more opportunities at other places? And why is he not headlining more shows?
I mean I know that he is working Believe and Riot regularly, but I think that Ray deserves more.
I am off my soap-box now.

Rey Beez is someone who's work I really didnt think/expect I'd enjoy.. From a gimmick that racks my brain in fustration (Homeless), doesn't wear wrestling 'gear', and tries to kill himself every single match in insane spots..

That said, Ray Beez really suprised me. The fans 1000% get behind him in a cult, punk rock sort of way. He has maybe the best entrance in Florida, and has made a pretty successful team w/ one of my favorites in fla.

Ray wrestles a lot 'bigger' then he is. If you told me he was going to have an even match w/ a guy the size of Snow, I would laugh it off. But he pulls it off in a believable way. That's something a lot of current workers can learn from.

Beez is a great worker, and has a gimmick that is starting to grow on me. I really wish he'd stop trying to kill himself, as his wrestling gets just as much of a crowd reaction as his stuntwork.

Next time Ray Beez is in a card by you, make sure you show up..and buy the guy some food..give him some change. And please don't cheer when he tries to jump off a truck parked on the roof of the venue. You'll only encourage him.

Definitely one of the best guys in Florida and one of my favorites to be in the ring with even though you know your gonna be fighting for your life the whole time.

I also like guys that I can stiff the living hell out of and he do the same to me and we just laugh about it in the back together afterwards. Case in point the first time we "wrestled" I stuffed him into a garbage can, placed him the corner and then gave him my running ass bomb which crushed him inside the can. He has described this as being one of the scariest experiences of his life. Later in the match he did a running yakuza kick to my balls that was the most painful thing I have ever felt in wrestling. Three years later we are still laughing together over that match. My kind of guy.

beez and snow have awesome chemistry. it looks like believe is trying to continue the fued, which is great. i love the fact that he comes out to bro hymn, but if he came out to "along the way" by bad religion, he'd be in my top 5.

The crazy thing about Beezy is what Lew mentioned about him killing himself......he just laughs it off. Seriously, in a business where boat loads of wrestlers are eating even more pills just to deal with the regular bumps and knocks that we take, you ask Ray Beez about some of his spots and you will hear in a soft voice "Yeah, it hurt a little bit, I will take some aspirin when I go home and be fine." Seriously, fucking aspirin.

Beezy doesn't take any pain pills at all, aspirin or nothing.. And yes he is very underrated, and also a good friend.. Keep up the great work ya homeless bastard!!!

Maybe there should be a Florida ranking system?

Oh no!

I say that as the Florida Indies site used to be known as Florida Rankings, and someone used to rank the wrestlers. Sure, he based it off of wins and losses, which just is a narrow-minded way of doing it, but it just didn't work and I hope that no one tries to do it again, even using better criteria.

I love watching Ray Beez and he is one tough son of a bitch to take all the bumps I have seen him take especially off the Budget rental truck. I am very proud to say I bought the 1st Bumz R Us t-shirt at Riot and I wear it proudly.

It was not that bad. He actually based it off of total bookings for the 6 major companies at the time. I think that it was ACW, FIP, MXPW, CCW, SCW, and EWE, but I could be wrong. Yeah it was based off of wins and losses, but so are title runs right? The way it was explained was logical too. "Losing a match means that you were still on the card, which gets you more points then not being booked." It was not perfect, but it was a good way to see who was doing what where.
