What promotion was this Msl? pics? review?

Reply to This

team vision LLC would technically be the promotion i guess. i dunno, i don't like to make up a promotion for sold shows, so they're normally just advertised as PRO WRESTLING. usually nobody would know the show even happened, but the results were so funny looking and i like annoying people here so i decided to post them.

didn't take any pics because i was too busy stuffing my face at catering all night.

as for a review . . . i didn't really watch the show. however i did tip off will rivera at the last minute that i was running a show near him, so maybe he'll post a review.

show drew 400, so for the purposes of claimed attendance on the internet, go ahead and mark us down for at least 875. ;)

i was very impressed by JC slater. he was originally trained by tommy taylor, who i'm not really familiar with, but now i'm interested in finding out more about him because he must have been giving solid instruction @ that fusion school because JC slater can go.

tatanka is still in amazing shape and will wrestle all night if you let him. hadn't seen him since doing some AWA shows with him in wisconsin a few years ago and he hasn't aged a bit.

the show was at a baptist church and there was definitely a religious theme throughout the card.

however i believe religion is a work and humans are simply an advanced form of mold, so the show opened with me and i came out to my usual marilyn manson theme music. ;)

i'm usually miserable at shows mainly because i hate being around too many humans. so this show was incredible for me because there were only 10 people in the locker room. 10 people i can handle. 50 people at vintage made me want to jump off a cliff.

it was a fun atmosphere as you had 5 locals and 5 fly ins, guys who'd been around 10-20 years and guys who'd been around 10-20 matches, plenty of food, and no stress.

it was all done in the name of jesus christ which was interesting as half the locker room was jewish.

while i hate almost everyone that posts here, i love ron niemi and i love the bug, so there ya go. my sincere thoughts on random church show # whatever. when you're not religious, church shows can be a bit weird, but everyone is always super nice and it doesn't bother me to be preached to, so it's all good.

i love jesus. i love wrestling. and i love ron niemi/the bug. good morning to all.

You know what... I'll be that guy... I call BULLSHIT on this. I mean, this show just so happens to be in my hometown of Florida, and read what Mr. Will Rivera said about it on "the other board":

"@ the First Baptist Church of Clermont
400+ in attendance

1. Mister Saint Laurent defeated JC Slater with the Mister Saint Laurent Driver.
2. Road Dogg Jesse James defeated QT Marshall with the Pump Handle Slam.
3. Tatanka defeated Silas Young with the Indian Death Drop.
4. Steve Storm/Jimmy Cicero vs. Chasyn Rance/Gus Money ended in no decision in a Death Drop match in which a member of the losing team would be placed through a table full of glass, metal, thumb tacks and staples. Of course it's a church show, so no one actually goes through the table as it is just a segue into the religious promo that comes at the end of every religious wrestling show."

That totally sounds made up right there. A "Death Drop" match at a church show? C'mon now! Will was one of the Toadies who got offended at that church show in disguise in Kissimmee last month, and Gus was in the main event of that show.

Also, the event's not mentioned at all on Chasyn's website and he always keeps it up to date, and no word of it the night after? I don't think so. Jared David's reply to the original post is pretty clear to me that it's all a dumb joke.

Nice job on not advertising the fake show anywhere online in order to get more people to show up for the benefit event for the church, asshole. You're as great of a promoter as you are a booker!

So, please offer up some proof that this show actually took place and it isn't some stupid Toady humor waste of time bullshit rib and it better be pretty convincing to prove it to me.

Blair, please contact the church and ask to speak to Pastor Ben or Jason. Ask them if they had a wrestling show that was run by Steve Storm and Mister Saint Laurent. Better yet, feel free to attend their church services tomorrow morning and ask just about any kid that was there if there was a wrestling show on Friday night in their rec center.

And I don't need an apology from you when you find out the truth because I honestly don't give a fuck about you. I'm only responding because I hate being called a liar, so I'm looking to set the record straight.

Here is the Facebook event page for the show. I'm going to sleep now because I have work in the morning, but this should be proof enough. If not, I'll gather more info for you tomorrow night. In the mean time, go fuck yourself.

haha I just wanted to know what show it was, I wasn't questioning the legitimacy of it ---- blair russell you so crazy.

Reply to This

too funny. bug is sincerely curious about the show and asks for my thoughts . . . i sincerely appreciate his interest and post my honest and heartfelt thoughts . . .

and somehow when read by our special friend not only is the sincerity mistaken for insincerity . . . but the apparant motivation for the elaborate ruse is to specifically target him . . .

only in the bizarro world of wrestling.

blair, i realize that you have a mental deficiency that prevents you from understanding my consistant use of inside jokes, references, subtle humor, etc.

and i feel terrible that somehow my every move is mistaken as a personal attack against you.

i don't know what else to say man. it's a sad sad situation.

Just a little bit more proof for Blair. The event is listed on January 29th straight on the church's official web site.

Blair, get some help.

As a former Christian Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champion with Rockin' Rico Casanova, I always like to keep tabs on the spiritiual mat-slammin scene.

I'm not going to believe (or rather BELIEVE) that Jared David is so stupid that he put on a show with such a random group of people, some of whom flew down, and he didn't even advertise it online beforehand.

Actually, it isn't hard to believe with such a mentally ill individual but that's besides the point. I don't know why The Bug thought that his initial comment meant anything as I posted what I did before I even read it. Random evidence that doesn't really prove anything isn't going to convince me of this show actually taking place. Jared David claiming to "not really be familiar with" Tommy Taylor is pretty rich given that they've been in FIP and RIOT together! Saying that religion is "fake" then saying that he loves Jesus is also rather comical... not as comical as his attempt to "wrestle", but funny nonetheless. How can anyone believe such a bigot like Jared David when he spouts such obvious crap and he's constantly lied a million times for the past few years now? That's the last I'll say on this subject as I've more than proven my point.

In the meanwhile, check out my blog on the actual show I went to Friday night, which will be up in the Blogs section in a minute or two.

But you haven't proven your point. The show was real. I was there. Will Rivera was there. The results are on Chasyn's site now. You are a dope and have been proven wrong and can't bare to admit it. It doesn't matter though, it's a mute point anywho.
